Artist statement

We made this project because it counted 40% of our grade. Christmas is coming, so we decided to make the Christmas tree. We chose the Christmas tree, the eye, and the present because we wanted the tree to live, and with that one eye, he could give present to children. We used implied line as dashes, it was used at top right corner. We used measure and direction line, it was used inside the tree, leaves and type line, it was used at the eye, curved. The most difficult part about completing this piece was the top of the present, our group spent 10 minutes. It didn't look like the sketch, so we did it again and again. I drew the group sketch. If I were to do this project again, I would change the leaves. From this design, I learned that the Christmas tree with the eye on top were perfect. The final piece was magnificent.
